Technology

The Foundation sponsors the Technology Program that specializes in teaching technology, computer science, and coding based on a variety of curricula to draw from for K-5 classes. Different technology topics are chosen for each of the 6 grade levels such that students can progress year-over-year from one curriculum to the next, with each curriculum increasing in difficulty and broadening students' exposure to various technologies and programming paradigms. As part of the technology program students also get access to specialized technology such as circuit electronic and robots.

Example of topics that are taught in the Technology Program are Animations & Games in Scratch, Coding & Engineering based on Microcontrollers, Minecraft Modding, 2D Video Game Design, and Robotics.

Section 5 of Article IX of the California Constitution guarantees students a “free public education.”
