TPES Foundation-Funded Programs Overview

The Foundation's mission is to provide resources to inspire learning, enrich teaching, and create equitable opportunities for children, staff, and families of TPES. Each year, the Foundation collaborates with school administration, staff, teachers, and families to listen to community priorities and fund programs, teachers, and supplies in line with our mission.

The resources enable students at TPES to receive a world-class education. Everyday, teachers, staff, and parents work together to define excellence at TPES with the aim of positively impacting our TPES community equitably.

In 2022-2023, the following academic and enrichment programs, teachers and supplies are funded in the Foundation annual budget based on the TPES community's needs and priorities:

  • Visual and Performing Arts (art, music, theater, dance enrichment including classroom teacher collaboration)
  • Teachers (two teachers, professional development for teachers, and supplies)
  • Physical Education (PE educator, specialized PE programs at the YMCA, and supplies)
  • Spanish (Spanish Languages educator)
  • Garden and Nutrition (Garden and Nutrition educator, garden curriculum, and garden irrigation/supplies)
  • Science (supplies and Science Discovery Day)
  • Library (supplies/books)

In addition to the academic and enrichment programs, teachers, and supplies listed above, the Foundation also funds community-building events and organizes volunteers for events and programs like New Families Picnic, Running Club, Movie Night, S'mores at the Shores, Block Party with Variety Show, Field Day, and more!

We need everyone's support - you all can make a difference!

Please reach out to TPES Foundation VP Campus Relations to find out how you can get involved!
