Volunteer Requirements

Volunteer requirements are in place to ensure the safety of our students. Please complete the necessary paperwork and clearances for the type of volunteer duties you will be performing.  These requirements are set by SDUSD and must be renewed each year.

Requirements for All Volunteers:

  • Provide results of Tuberculin skin test.  If you've had a positive skin test in the past, bring a copy of your chest x-ray report.  TB tests are valid for 4 years from test date.
  • Complete and return a Volunteer Application (each school year) and return it to the office with your TB test results. If you are a returning volunteer the office staff will check the TB results on file and, if they are not expired, transfer the clearance to the new volunteer form
  • Read and acknowledge understanding of the Volunteer Code of Conduct included with Application.

Additional requirements for Driving on School Field Trips:

  • Proof of Insurance and copy of driver's license at the time of the field trip sign up.
