TPES Science Discovery Day

Event Details

For over 20 years, Science Discovery Day has been the most popular school-wide educational event at Torrey Pines Elementary.  All students participate in a morning filled with hands-on, age-appropriate science and technology activities.  With our growing student population, we need a large number of presenters-which means we need YOUR help to make this amazing morning a reality! 

If you are a professional in a science or technology related field, know a fun science activity or experiment, or just like working with small groups of children, please volunteer to show the students something cool.

Each student gets to experience three 30-minute different science activities from three different presenters (every presenter will repeat the same presentation 3 times). We need lots of presenters-which means we need YOUR help to make this amazing morning a reality!
