Don't Miss the Fun!  Screen Free Week is Here!

From April 30 - May 4, plan to unplug from digital entertainment and spend all that free time playing, reading, creating, exploring, and connecting with family and friends!  There will be a variety of FREE activities at TPES after school for everyone to enjoy.

Restaurant Week Monday April 30th - Thursday May 3rd at California Pizza Kitchen La Jolla.  20% of your pre-tax bill will be donated back to TPESF (see flyer (please add link to the attached flyer) for more information).

Monday April 30th - Family Bingo Night 5-6pm, in the TPES Auditorium

Come along and enjoy BINGO!  All materials provided, and this event is FREE to attend.  Just head to the TPES Auditorium for a 5pm start.  This is not a drop off event, and all children must be accompanied by their parents please.

Tuesday May 1st - Active Kids San Diego obstacle course and games 5-6pm, on the field at TPES

Don’t miss this awesome opportunity for your kids to run, jump, crawl, and play while having fun!  This is a FREE event kindly provided by Coach Davor (a TPES parent) from San Diego Active Kids (, aimed at kids aged from 3-8, but all ages are welcome to attend.

Wednesday May 2nd - Four Square Tournament, 5:15-6pm, on the TPES black top

Join Coach Dominique and Coach Patty as they lead a super fun four square and wall ball tourney.  All ages and ability levels welcome!  Come and enjoy this FREE activity!

Thursday May 3rd - Used Book Sale 3-4pm, on the TPES black top

Come and check out the great range of gently used children’s books for sale at the book sale!  All books will be priced at $1 each and all proceeds will be donated to the TPES Foundation!


Thursday May 3rd - The Scooter Farm Scooter Demonstration 5-6pm, on the TPES black top

Don’t miss this super popular event from last year, back by popular demand!  Bring your scooter and helmet with you to the TPES blacktop and let the Pro’s show you how it is done.  Then it is YOUR TURN to show them your moves!  Don’t miss this exciting FREE opportunity to learn more about trick scooters!  All ages and abilities welcome.

Friday May 4th - Tile painting Party, 3:15-5:15pm, Williams Residence (across road from TPES).  This event costs $35 per tile.

Parents, enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres while your children paint a legacy tile that will be installed on the campus library for years to come. You are welcome to stay with your child or drop off. Adults are welcome to paint a tile also!  Sign up to join,

Friday May 4th – Come at Try Archery @ UCSD, 5-6pm, UCSD Archery Field, near 9300 Campus Pointe Drive

Bring your children (for safety reasons, 2nd grade and older please) and enjoy a FREE come and try archery session run by the Sun God Archery Team at UCSD on their newly constructed field as part of their outreach program.  Please note, this is not a drop off event.  There are only two options for public parking: 1. Campus Point Parking Structure (Green), and 2. Lot P751 (Blue), both of which require purchasing a parking ticket (see map below). There are various pay stations located on each parking lot.
