Back-to-School / Curriculum Night

Event Details

Back-to-School and Curriculum Night will be Friday, August 24 – yes, the Friday BEFORE school begins.  This date was moved to before school starts in order for parents to know the curriculum, expectations, and environment of their classroom before classes begin.  Also teachers will be able to answer any questions parents may have prior to school.  Please save the date to ensure you can attend this event!

  • New Families: All new families will attend a presentation from 4-4:15pm in the auditorium. 
  • TK-2nd grade families will then attend their child's informational session in their child's classroom between 4:30 and 5:15pm
  • 3rd-5th grade families will attend their child's informational session in their child's classroom between 5:15 and 6:00pm. 
Similar to previous years, students will receive a phone call before the event from their teacher welcoming them (and you) to their classroom. Class lists will also be posted on the TPES Foundation website and the office will remain open to ensure any last minute enrollment paperwork may be turned in. 

This event is a wonderful opportunity for parents/guardians to come meet their teacher, experience the learning environment, learn about the curriculum and expectations, and ask questions.
